Ovary Stimulation Treatment

Ovary stimulation treatment is performed with injections containing FSH hormone administered subcutaneously. Rarely, it may cause redness and sensitivity of the skin.

Stimulation treatment lasts an average of 10 days. During this period, follicle numbers and diameters are measured by vaginal ultrasound 3-4 times to monitor progress. Generally, on the day the largest follicles reach 18 mm, two ovulation-triggering injections (Gonapeptyl 0.1 mg) are administered. The egg retrieval procedure is performed approximately 36 hours after the injection.
