Born in 1961 in Ankara, Nursel Şahin completed her primary and secondary education in Izmir and high school in Ankara, graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1984. She completed her specialization in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Akdeniz University in 1998. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2008 and Professor in 2017. Since 2018, she has been working at the Antalya IVF Center. With 24 international publications, Nursel Şahin has also been serving as the President of the Antalya Medical Chamber and a board member of the Turkish Medical Association since 2018.
