Prof. Dr. Murat BERKKANOĞLU, born in Istanbul, graduated from Kadıköy Kenan Evren Anadolu High School in 1988 with top honors and completed his studies at Cerrahpaşa English Faculty of Medicine in 1995 with fourth rank.

Between 1995 and 2000, he received his specialization training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul SSK Bakırköy Women's and Children's Diseases Training and Research Hospital. He also completed his internship training at Worcester Royal Hospital, University of Birmingham, UK.

From 2001 to 2004, he worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine, USA, as a postdoctoral fellow.

In 2004, he joined the Antalya IVF team. In 2005, he served as an observer at the IVF Center of Abington Hospital in Pennsylvania, USA, and later in 2008 at the Boston IVF Center, Harvard University, USA. He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2018.
